Mitchell Marriott is a Financial Planner at Decker Retirement Planning, serving clients from the firm’s Sausalito and San Francisco offices. Born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County, Mitchell has always had a strong connection to the Bay Area — a connection that shapes how he serves his clients and the community.

He graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a double major in Economics and Politics and began his career in financial services in 2002. Over the past 18 years, he has worked with several major brokerage firms and has been a fiduciary since 2007, building a reputation for integrity, expertise, and client-first service.

Mitchell joined Decker Retirement Planning in 2025, drawn to the firm’s unique focus on helping clients approaching or entering retirement. He believes that understanding each client’s individual story is the key to building a financial plan that truly works. Known for taking the time to get to know his clients personally, Mitchell helps them navigate market uncertainties, cut through media noise, and ultimately retire with confidence.

Outside of work, Mitchell has built a rich life with his wife of 26 years and their twin 19-year-old sons. He is deeply involved in the community, serving as Past President of Rotary, a Past Board Member of the Marin Economic Forum for eight years, and an active member of the Freemasons and Lions Club. He volunteers regularly at local events and enjoys travel, photography, and participating in athletic challenges — reflecting the same dedication and passion he brings to his clients’ financial journeys.
